Privacy Policy
Effective September 13, 2026. This policy explains what we collect when you call the helpline or use this website, and what we do with it.
What information do you collect when I call?
Your phone number, the ZIP code you give, a short description of the dental problem, and the clinic you were referred to. This is used to make the referral, confirm the appointment and resolve any dispute about it. Calls to 1-855-219-4656 may be recorded for quality and training. We do not sell caller information.
Information we collect
- Helpline callers: phone number, location, description of the problem, referral details, and call recordings where permitted by law.
- Website visitors: pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the ZIP code you type into the search box. Analytics is collected only if a measurement tool is enabled on this site.
- Forms: the details you submit through the contact or partner application forms.
How we use it
- To match you with a partner dentist and confirm the appointment.
- To share your name, phone number and the nature of the problem with the clinic you are referred to, so they can prepare for your visit.
- To improve the helpline and this website, and to measure how many calls each page generates.
- To respond to messages you send us.
Sharing
We share caller details only with the clinic you are referred to and with service providers who operate the helpline, hosting and analytics under contract. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.
Health information
The description of your dental problem is used only to make an appropriate referral. We are not a healthcare provider, and information you give the clinic is governed by the clinic's own privacy notice.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies needed for analytics, if enabled, and none for advertising. Embedded maps are provided by Google and are subject to Google's privacy policy when loaded.
Retention
Referral records and recordings are kept as long as needed to resolve billing and disputes with partner clinics, then deleted. Form submissions are kept until the query is closed.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or opt out of call recording at the start of a call. Send requests to hello@dentalemergencyusa.com or through the contact form. Residents of states with privacy laws, such as California, have additional rights under those laws, which we honor.
Children
The helpline is used by parents and guardians on behalf of children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Changes
Updates are posted on this page with a new effective date.
